Sef Shin is a martial arts style that has been introduced by Mehdi Zand, a 10th Dan Black Belt, professor in philosophy and martial science; holder of a PHD in psychology of martial arts, who has earned more than 100 international awards with the latest being the ‘Platinum Martial Artist Legend Award’ for the year 2012.

Rare as it may be, Sefshin is the perfect synergy of solid movements and fluid motions, a true combination of speed and power. It will push students beyond the limits of the physique and past the barriers within their mind and develop the practitioner into a confident and formidable martial artist, difficult to overcome and practically indomitable. In the higher levels of Sefshin, practitioners will be able to learn how to harness certain energies that are vibrating within our atmosphere.

Even so, the basic element that inspired the creation of this martial art originates from the passages of his book called The Exordium.

The Exordium is Master Zand’s account of creation, the struggle for immortality and the ongoing battle for supremacy within the universe. The story tells of warriors fighting hand to hand, blade to blade using the instinctive mechanism of physical and psychological combat that has become known to us as Sefshin: The Secret Combat of Fire.

Mehdi Zand’s teachings indicate that the Souls of Fire (universal warriors of justice) were the first group of intelligences to enter planet Earth and introduce the art of Sefshin to humankind.

Their aim was to instruct the inhabitants so they could protect themselves against the giants and destructive species who were roaming the planet for control and colonisation.

Sefshin is a scientific approach to develop the mind and body to its ultimate potential, a way of life, a way of honour and a way of dignity.
